First an explanation on what an allotment plot is!
If you would like to add yourself to the waiting list or see if a plot is available then you should approach the committee using the contact details below.
Patricia [Pat] McKenzie can be contacted via email [email protected]. If the link does not work then please just copy/paste the address into your email application. Alternatively, please use the Contact Us page on this website.
If a plot is allocated and monies are due then please make cheque payable to "Dunblane Allotment Group" and pass the cheque to Ian Howe or make a payment via bank transfer. Information for this will be provided in the Welcome Pack from Pat.
- an allotment is traditionally measured in rods (perches or poles) an old measurement dating back to Anglo-Saxon times. Well, so says The National Allotment Society www.nsalg.org.uk/allotment-info/
- In the context of DAG, we offer 4 types of plot, three of which carry an annual plot fee. There is a one off fee of £30 for joining DAG regardless of the size of the plot.
- Full Plot annual plot fee £40.
- Half Plot annual plot fee £20.
- Quarter Plot annual plot fee £10.
- Starter (provisional) Plot no plot fee for the first year.
- There is a £10 annual fee for the purchase of manure. This is a voluntary payment. Your soil may not need manure in which case you need not pay the £10. If you do take advantage of the manure please just take a 'reasonable amount".
- Plot fees are paid when joining and then annually during November of each year. The committee are grateful to all plot holders who are prompt with their annual payments as it keeps administrative time to a minimum.
